Within the time period that I have had a Tumblr, it always made me question one thing. Are long distance relationships really worth it with someone that you just met over the internet? 

I have met a lot of people on here that I never thought actually existed. Everyone has something different to offer and a major those that I have met, have specific qualities that I like in a person. 

People say “Love has no distance.” I can say that I do agree with that, but at the same time, a relationship is 50% based on being physical with each other. No, I am not talking about sex; but holding each other, kissing, hugging, etc. With the distance in the way, doing that is completely impossible, unless both of you are patient and willing to wait. Trust is an even bigger issue because of the fact that you have to trust the words that they tell you since you can’t be there to actually see what they are doing. 

I believe that it is worth it to have a long distance relationship, only if you know that you can handle it. Meaning, you must be mentally and emotionally stable enough. Anything is possible, if you just set your mind to it. If you want it, then you can achieve it. 

Sometimes it is not even the distance that stops long distance relationships from working out, but it is the lack of communication. In order to make things work, talking to each other is key. You don’t need to talk to them 24/7, but it would be nice if you talk to them often in order to see how they are doing. 

When that day comes that you two actually meet and will be able to physically hold each other and kiss, then I can guarantee you, that will be one of the best days ever. Just knowing the fact that the both of you stuck with each other throughout the entire way without seeing each other like other couples, it already gives you that stepping stone above everyone else.
